MFlow Journey uses passive biometric technology to track and manage people flow through transport hubs, such as an airport.  MFlow Journey enables real time journey and queue measurement so aiding improved planning of staffing levels, reduction in queue times and bottlenecks and increased movement into pre-determined areas of your choice eg: retail areas.

How it works

  • An image of all people entering a specified zone is captured as soon as they enter the area of interest
  • Using the image, people are then identified at pre-determined way-points along their journey. In an airport, way-points may be: check-in desks, ticket presentation barriers
  • The length of time it takes a person to get from one way point to another is captured and the average time for all people making this journey is calculated
  • The real time data captured by the camera technology is reflected on a user friendly interface to enable authorised personnel to continuously monitor and quickly react to prevent bottlenecks

Features:

  • The use of biometric facial recognition technology maximises the sample set
  • On-screen dashboard allows for interpretation of real-time events
  • Split journey times for each area of the operation with cumulative timings at each way-point
  • Email alerting if journey exceeds pre-determined thresholds
  • Web based application for simple user roll out

What data can I get?

  • Average length of time for a person to get from set way-points eg: check in desk to security
  • Complete journey time to get from the start to end point eg: check in desk to boarding
  • Historical data reports showing performance over time frame

Why choose MFlow Journey?

  • It does not require any conscious interaction from the people being monitored
  • Unlike other people monitoring technology, MFlow Journey does not rely on people/passenger technology such as Bluetooth to give a sample set number
  • The ability to set pre-determined thresholds that will activate alerts if thresholds are reached at key points of the day/year
  • Email alerting if expected journey times are exceeded to enable a response to bottleneck situations
  • It is a web-based application for simple user roll-out
