What is MForce?

MForce is a fully scalable, mobile Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS) capable of being deployed and set up within minutes.  This unique identification platform is able to fuse multi-modal biometric data providing rapid actionable intelligence for military, humanitarian, security, border force and policing applications.

Benefits of MForce:

Benefits include:

  • Multi-modal biometric capture and matching supporting iris, face and fingerprint (live scan and latent) ensures that you can make accurate identifications at a 1:n level
  • Mobile biometric enrolment, identification and management through robust, easy to use devices that can be operated in rugged and remote environments
  • Scalable open architecture enables interoperability between devices and allows our customers to take full advantage of the latest biometric innovations providing a stable but flexible solution
  • Poor quality  / incomplete biometric data may be used to yield highly accurate results through  enhanced biometric fusion matching
  • Forensic latent prints may be scanned by untrained operators using the latent examiner tool to provide an enhanced at the scene forensic capability
  • Simple user interface extends across technical and language barriers
  • Supports Electronic Biometric Transmission Specification (EBTS) industry standards for data packaging and sharing between third parties
  • Rapid registration and identification delivering actionable, accurate ‘on the move’ intelligence
  • Development and matching of watchlists against iris, fingerprints and latent images

How does it work?

MForce can be deployed through a range of fixed or portable devices for the capture of high quality biometric data across various modalities including face, finger and iris.  Either in a static environment or a mobile jump kit solution MForce is able to fuse multiple biometric and biographic match scores to provide a comprehensive picture of potential subjects in real time.

Product Overview

MForce is equally suitable for deployment within a secure civilian environment as it is in a military setting.  Capable of being operated in remote, expansive or hostile surroundings MForce combines positive identification with portability.

Whether on the move or in a temporary location MForce is able to combine multi-modal biometric information with latent fingerprint images, DNA details and biographic data.  Together this key intelligence provides an operator with the ability to search identity databases ranging into the millions.

The MForce flexible user interface allows individual operators to define the level of identification that they are required to perform.  At a software level, further enhanced quality checking is completed to ensure that all biometric images meet the required standard.  These features together with the highly accurate duplicate checking capability maximise the accuracy and usability of all data.

The system delivers a variety of identity and asset management services that can be utilised by Government and Non-Government Organisations alike.  For example:

  • Mass enrolment and identifications
  • Access control
  • Latent fingerprint imaging
  • Watchlist database matching
  • Payroll
  • Record tracing
  • Disaster Victim Identification (DVI)
  • Criminal identification and registration
  • Distribution of aid

MForce is designed to allow customers the freedom of choice, without being locked to a single provider.  This is particularly important in specialist areas where collection devices for forensic intelligence gathering evolve very quickly.  Importantly, MForce packages and synchronises data in international standards compliant formats enabling inter-agency cooperation.
